SAPPI BUILDS SMART NURSERIES

A change for the environment
Extreme weather and shifting seasons prompted Sappi's nursery to transform. The Ellepot propagation system offers benefits like an air-pruned root system and a stable plug for early handling. Unlike traditional plastic inserts, Ellepot uses degradable paper that stays on during planting.

Sappi's key benefit is moving plants out of the nursery two weeks earlier, reducing transit time and transplant shock. This leads to better plant ratings and lower mortality as plants establish more quickly and easily.
