The Ellepot Landscape 2 paper will start to degrade after 6-8 weeks and is certified according to the highest environmental industry standards.

The patented technology for the Landscape 2 paper is the result of six years’ intense product development. A development process to ensure environmental compliance at every stage of the paper’s life cycle, including material selection, handling, testing, & degradation.
With its decomposition time of 6-8 weeks, the Ellepot Organic 2.0 is ideal for:
• producers of organic crops.
• crops with a shorter propagation time.
The paper is made from wood fibers sourced from FSC® certified forests and other controlled sources, making it:
• approved by FiBL (The Research Institute of Organic Agriculture), as input material for organic crops in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and France.
• approved as input material for organic crops by the Soil Association in UK.
• and may be used in Dutch organic farming: Registered in the Dutch inputs list for organic farming.
Ellepot Organic 2.0 is included in the FiBL list of permitted inputs for organic production in Denmark, France, Germany, Holland, and Switzerland.

6-8 weeks - in general, we state the degrading time for this paper is 4-6 weeks, but it is very much depending on how it is being used.
Fibre web design:
The special web design provide a fine protection for the roots during the time on benches before plant out. Roots will penetrate the paper and continue growth after transplant.
Recommendation:
The product is widely used for organic crops.
We recommend this paper for use in propagation for a short time on the benches before plant out.
You should use a low tray to let the air circulation pass freely. It is also recommended not to keep the pots in an all-wet environment until plant out.
